Top Tips for Shopping at Red Brick Market

I started to write a few tips about shopping at Red Brick on my Instagram stories & then saved them as Highlights, so I thought that I might as well write a bit for here too! So here are my Top Tips for making the most of a trip to Red Brick Market, Liverpool.

  1. Wrap up!  It’s a very big indoor space and it can get quite chilly in Winter. On the plus side, in Summer when it's warm outside, it's always a wonderfully cool contrast to come inside!

  2. Allow lots of time for your visit. There is so much to see, as the place is packed full of different small businesses. Some businesses only have a cabinet or a wall space, some have whole units (or even two units!) and it takes time to properly look at everything. If you need a pit stop and a sit down, we also have a cafe!

  3. Collect a basket on the way in & bring a bag to take home all your purchases! Every business has their stall name on their price tags, so it's fine to go round collecting the things you want to buy and then take them to the front desk to pay. In case you are wondering, there are a LOT of CCTV cameras monitoring the place!

  4. Tag us! Red Brick is very Instagram-able, so if you take any photos for social media, don't forget to tag Red Brick Market Liverpool AND the small business itself when you share. That way you are actively helping others see just how wanderful we are!

  5. If you change your mind about an item you've picked up, please return it to where you found it if you can (remember it will have the stall name on the tag) OR leave it with the main desk. That way it helps the business owner keep track of their stock.

  6. Come back often! Every business swaps stock around on a regular basis and new businesses join us all the time, so make sure you visit us oftenso you keep up to date! Remember, we are open every day of the week until 6pm.

  7. Follow us! The majority of the small businesses in Red Brick are on Social Media, take a note of their name and give them a follow. That way you can stay up to date with any sales, events or general news! Social Media is one of the easiest ways to help a small business stay in business! It costs nothing to follow / like / comment / share posts and every single interaction helps them to become more visible.
